This engine will be available with a choice between a six-speed manual gearbox and six-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will be available with Harrier's 2.0-litre diesel engine that puts out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The customers will have a choice between two-seating options - a seven-seater model and a six-seater model with captain seats for the middle row. The upcoming SUV was first revealed as a concept at Geneva Motor Show 2019 where it was codenamed H7X. The new Tata Safari is essentially Harrier's three-row version and was showcased at Auto Expo 2020 as Gravitas. Tata has resurrected the Safari brand by revealing the new-generation model today.
